In my opinion Brighton have really good chances to avoid big loss in today's match up. I don't see Liverpool win with more than one goal margin.

In last 5 matches between both teams Liverpool only once won against Brighton with more than one goal margin. First match of the season between both teams finished with draw 1:1, but Brighton played much better in that game and really deserved for a win: expected goals scored for Brighton 2.22, for Liverpool 0.32. I see another hard match today for Liverpool.

Brighton currently is just above relegation zone, but they plays football on very high level so far. In many of their matches they played better than opponents (like in first match against Liverpool), but they weren't able to convert their chances into goals or maintain concentration on the highest level. According to the expected goals table, Brighton should be now on 7th place instead of 17th.. In last weeks their form raised a lot - they lost only one of last 7 matches, 0:1 on away against leader of the table Manchester City. Brighton defense at the moment looks very solid they kept clean sheet in last 3 matches in a row in Premier League. Offensive formation as well looks dangerous - in last 2 matches they had expected goals number above 1.76. Brighton scored at least one goal in 7 of Premier League away matches so far. I see good chances for them to score today.

Liverpool conceded at least one goal in 7 of 10 Premier League home matches so far. In 2021 Liverpool played 7 matches and conceded at least one goal 6 times. Today on central defender position will play Phillips (5 matches) and Henderson (nominal position: midfielder) - once again I see problems for Liverpool to keep clean sheet. Obviously, Liverpool now caught up some fire and they wants to go with momentum, but for them the most important is win - goals difference is not so crucial. As well big pressure on players shoulders after yesterday big home win for Manchester United. Liverpool have to win this match..

I see really heavy game for hosts. I see at least one goal for Brighton and comfortable +1.5 hc cover.
